My Name is Erik and I am a full blooded Lean Practitioner. I hold an engineering and economics degree and different diplomas and certificates in Lean and Coaching as well.

I have been working with Lean and process improvements almost all of my career. Since the first time I got acquainted with Lean and the thought behind it I have been a fan. And even more so when I began practicing it. And that is why I am trying to always spread the good tidings about Lean. Lean is not just some fad or some highly theoretical mumbo jumbo.

No! Lean has arisen from the shop floor with people who do the work and are used to getting their hands dirty. So it is very practical and even better: IT WORKS!

This is why I have started "Thoughts from the Gemba". I want to inspire and ignite people to become fans of Lean and begin practicing it themselves so the many organizations out there that suffer from broken processes, bad and stressful environment can benefit from it!
